Sunday 14th May - Day 9: Lytham-St-Annes to Tywyn, North Wales.
Phil had only been hoping to make Harlech on Sunday, but made Harlech early, so continued on to spend the night at Tywyn.
Phil met up with "Ollie" and red TR4

taken from the TR3 on the move.
Brings back memories of our Irish tour with 4 TRs (Phil and Babs in their 3; Martin [Phil's navigator for the Northern half of his journey] and Lynn Hill in their 6; Mike and Peta Braddock, and ourselves both in 3As. - see TR Action Nov/Dec 1998, page 52)

Phil at the Ffestiniog Railway Harbour Station in Porthmadog.
I must have got him interested in those steam engines after all!!

Need a map to find these places? Sorry I have not built those in yet, but you could go to Multimap.com for a good guide down to street level.
