We met Philip at the Humber Bridge and followed him around the coast of East Yorkshire as far as Hornsea. At Hornsea Phil decided to call it a day (having covered 370 miles that day), go home for the night, and sleep in his own bed again. Arrangements were made that others would meet Phil at Hornsea Freeport the next afternoon, to formally complete the run into Bridlington.
